I can't believe I have neglected this blog for so long! I have been soo busy attempting to finish school and finally start summer! I was so teased by the 80 degree weather that plummeted to low 60's this week. So, I'm going to try my best to go back to my regular blogging schedule. And I'm not going to add myself to the list of other bloggers and put up Mark's Ksubi shots, but isn't that collection AMAZING.

I have finally started bringing out my shorts for the summer. I never really liked these shorts because they are a tad big and make my butt look nonexistent, but once I rolled them and popped out the pockets.... ta da!

cardigan. Apparently it was on sale because it ran up $12 cheaper. I love when things

like that happen....

I have so many chains and necklaces that are so meaningful to me, that usually I just end up throwing them all on together. I have my vintage switch key and two rings put on a chain. My favorite might be my tribal silver necklace that was my grandmothers.

I wore this out today to a coffee shop followed by endless walking and driving, by night I really needed a jacket. I'm in denial it's still cold..

I have been thinking about doing a q&a from most of the e-mails I've been receiving, any suggestions?

62 degrees in March? Crazy. Crazy. I want shorts, and tank tops, and flip flops, flowy dresses, and jean jackets when its cold.. high socks, and high grass. I love layering for fall and maybe even spring, but tights under leggings under jeans for winter is way too much layering.

It has been so warm here and I have been dying to wear this dress, I borrowed this beautiful necklace from my mother and tied it. I love the last picture, it reminds me of a painting..

We got two inches of snow! I actually got stuck in maryland and couldn't come home until sunday, so sorry for the lack of posts! I actually shredded this shirt last weekend 20 minutes before I walked out the door for a show, I really wanted it and somehow completed it in the most ridiculously short of time... and I never ended up wearing it! Well, at least I can add this to the rest of the shredded pile..

"Hanger Appeal" Jeremy Scott's Fall/Winter 2010 Collection.

This collection was soo rad! I loved the oversized sweaters bearing "STYLE" and "FASHION".

You can't expect anything less from Jeremy Scott, who always incorporates pop culture into his designs. The custom Jeremy Scott hangers were what originally got me, (no pun intended) on the name of the collection. The craziest was the life-size model cutouts that the models had attached to their belts! The hair and makeup was so rad, as usually. Love love love love this collection.

we are getting a foot of snow tomorrow. so stoked, it has been so dry here. although, i'm slightly getting sick of the cold since I have recently cut and bleached some of my old jeans and can't wear them for a few months...

my day consisted of black coffee, climbing down rocks, and ending up at the most beautiful stream of ice and waterfalls. watching the water choose its own path.

I have not been able to take these shorts off, I'm on such a leather kick right now.

This is one of my favorite sweaters of all time, downward arrows are a weakness of mine.

This is a vintage YSL men's shirt that I surprisingly found at a thrift store for $28. It's soo very soft and drapes nicely. These shorts were my first cut and bleach project. Old baggy jeans to rad shorts.

I have been getting a lot of questions about the rings I wear on a daily basis. These are the rings I permanently wear on my left hand. The rings on my index and middle finger were gifts and the one on my ring finger was my grandmothers. I also wear another ring of my grandmothers permanently on my right hand. I love rings, the more the merrier.

Also, a friend of mine bought me this vintage bag for christmas from a vintage store after she saw me gawking at it when we were thrifting. It's actually cast with real leather and the shape it so awesome.

I'm going to vermont this weekend, sooo stoked. I better bundle!

ELECTRIC FEEL

If I actually went out the door like this I would have frozen my ass off. I originally had thick tights under these shorts and my big jacket. This dark and cold weather has been making me want to stay in bed all day long everyday. Sometimes cold is an understatement. It's the kind of cold that you don't want to go anywhere because you don't want to have to run in and out of the car and then wait for it to warm up.

I am ecstatic that I have taken four mid-terms and I now only have two to go. Although, not including my art mid-term which is friday.

I got this sweater at the Salvation Army a few years ago and who knows how long the person had it before me and I actually gasped when I picked it up today and found some holes in the back... clothes age... unfortunately. I will just have to be extra careful. I can't wait until I can wear these leather shorts in the summer without tights, since I only got them a few months ago, I haven't gotten to wear them tight-less!

p.s i love urban outfitters new spring catalog, especially this, this and these!

I have been M.I.A, I am so terribly sorry! I have been consumed by projects all due at the same time, but I am out of my funk and back to my regular blogging schedule. I have been getting a lot of questions on who takes my photos, and surprisingly I happen to take and edit my own photos.

It is freezing here and I hate how I want summer in winter, and winter in summer. No matter how many layers I add on I am still freezing my ass off. I have decided it is officially a crime to leave the house without hat, scarf, gloves, tights under pants, thick socks, and my warmest winter coat. Dead of winter is not the greatest time to be shopping, I want to be home in my bed with a cup of chamomile: heaven.

I just purchased this faux leather studded jacket from forever 21, I love it and it is very conformable and soft, but I definitely cannot say warm. I am happy to finally add a tan leather jacket to my ever growing closet..

I was asleep this evening, but was abruptly woken and have not been able to get back to sleep, so I'm getting a head start on my outfit post from today. Im sitting in my kitchen and I love it and its raining and the sound is amazing...

When I found these boots at the Sally last week, one was originally a lone soldier until i scoured the ENTIRE store looking for the other one and eventually found it under the shoe rack. I was not planning on leaving without these boots. I saw them and my mind screamed TOP SHOP WEDGES.

Although they are quite different (no peep toe etc.) i was so gravitated on owning these, they are surprisingly easy to walk in but hysterically make my 5'8" self look like a giant.

While I was sifting through my local Salvation Army, I saw one of the arms of this jacket peaking out among the rubble and I immediately gasped when I picked it up. It's some what of a black jean jacket with sheer arms? covered in pearls? It's absolutely amazing and have been hanging it in very visual parts of my room so I can gaze at it to my fullest extent.

weekend included: thrifting, wandering, the shining, portuguese, beautiful abandoned houses, polaroids, italian food, pirate hats, and loss of sleep.... still recuperating.

my warm, beautiful, cozy, vintage sweater dress. I love it in the winter with tights, but there are holes all over it which brings in a not so great breeze..

Forgive me for my lack of posts over the past few days, I spent Saturday through last night in New York City. I stupidly forgot my camera (I still can't believe I did!) I had a rad time, most of my fun happened in the West Village at The Fatty Crab and Magnolia's (if you've been to New York and haven't been to Magnolia's Bakery I consider that a crime). They have the most amazing cupcakes in the whole city (Billy's coming in second). I would have to say my favorite part of my time in the city was sitting in central park listening to this jazz band called TinPan, they were so amazing.

I got a lot of great feedback on my last post, and wanted to know what you guys would like to see more of, less of, half of, a quarter of...

I found this "cape" while sifting through my mothers cedar closet. I haven't been able to take it off! The cashmere on my skin is heaven. I couldn't believe I missed this treasure in all of my other sifts through her closets...

I have a day off tomorrow (thank god!) so i'll try to answer all my e-mails!

These leather shorts are probably one of my most miraculous thrift finds. I don't know who would ever want to let these bad boys go. I found them at the Salvation Army in downtown Philly.

My Sally adventure yesterday was pretty beat, maybe it's because I go to that Sally EVERY wednesday, I guess they have no new treasures for me to find. I came home with only a sweater and a book, spent not even $4. Pretty soon I'm going to need a thrift bookcase for all of the 79 cent books I get at thrift stores..

Lately I have found myself marveling at this models hair, she is so beautiful.

It is pouring this morning, but I secretly love waking up to the rain, has anyone seen this yet? Alexander McQueen is beyond innovative.

I've been working on yet another shredded t-shirt, (thanks Camille!) I did a white one that took forever a while ago, but I decided I also need a black one. It didn't take me that long to do this one panel, (all the way to the top) maybe an hour or so.

I have been so tired today, but wanted to make a quick entry before I took a nap. I'm not really sure where the dark area on the left of my photos is from, camera malfunction, or the lighting?

I've been living in these target pants since I got them Friday, I suggest everyone get a pair. I'm glad it's finally fall so I can wear my collection of beautiful scarves, and my blazer that has been collecting dust balls. I think I need to do some skimming of my closet..

I found the most amazing pants at target yesterday. They are basically a thick more 'pant' type version of leggings. They are awesome, I'm thinking about going and getting another pair, they make my legs look so long! I wore this to First Night with my black suede heels, the belt is my mom's that she found in a thrift store about 15 years ago.

I'm just finalizing plans for NYC next Saturday through Tuesday, finally I can see my sister! Thank you so much for all the sweet comments, I'm glad you like my blog! Feel free to let me know what you would like to see more of!

My apologizes for the lack of posts, this is how i have been feeling lately. I've been really busy and haven't had enough time for myself to collect my thoughts. Tonight I went downtown for First Friday, stopped at Northern Lights for a Chai, then headed to the gallery's at Electric City Tattoo and Anthology, saw some rad style there. I was sad I didn't bring my camera

Last night I went to a benefit fashion show that my beautiful friend was in, it was funny to see all these girls walking the runway HEAD DOWN making sure they didn't trip. LOOK UP girls LOOK UP!

I am not exactly sure what I would call this article of clothing that I am wearing. I picked it up at a consignment shop (Elizabeth's). It's not a poncho, or a wrap. It's actually very interesting, it has no tag, I'm pretty sure it's handmade. It is the most conformable and versatile piece of clothing I own.

Today was yet again cold and rainy. Went to Northern Light Espresso Bar after a full day of school to get some work done. Currently reading The Crucible for American Literature, such a great play. I decided to broaden by horizons from the usually chai, so to my delight I ordered Cafe Au Lait (after endless times of failed pronunciation) which ended up being delicious: coffee and steamed milk. I usually drink my coffee black, but surprisingly steamed milk has a much better taste than regular milk. Eh?

I have finally hopped on the 'shoulder pad' bandwagon, as has everyone else since Balmain's debut. I found this blazer while thrifting, knowing that most people probably kept walking after realizing that the shoulder pads were underneath the lining and incapable of being easily ripped out. I usually find shoulder pads everywhere on the floor of the Salvation Army dressing rooms. It is still cold and rainy in Scranton, yes like The Office. It's making me want to finally bring out all of my sweaters. Maybe I should do a few posts of my favorite sweaters? Any thoughts?
